To understand the pledges I'm sharing, please note the following objective of this store and what it represents to me and my family.

My main objective of my gallery is to share my art with all visitors and provide them with a quality experience. I'm a story teller at heart. Each piece presented comes with a snippet of what went into the creation of the piece, a glimpse at the cross of emotion and thought that inspired the work.

My store represents a legacy business - a leave behind for my family and a means of continually giving back to the causes I have supported throughout my life. Hopefully, that giving will continue long after me and the books and art created be me in my lifetime will help make that possible. 

Here is what all my customers can count on.

1. There is no sale that means more to me or my business than earning the trust of customers now and in the future. My reputation is far more important than any sale.

2. I price my original art using a methodology based on the market value of past sales, the market reach and for the benefit of those wishing to collect and enjoy original work.

3. All store prices for original work include shipping.

4. Each year the price of any remaining original in inventory will increase by at least 2%.

5. Store prices are non-negotiable. I don't discount my original artwork to anyone, and I don't have distribution channels with different price structures. What you pay for an original in this store will be priced exactly the same as anywhere it may be offered, including the galleries in which it is displayed.

6. I don't conduct random or seasonal sales on any of my original work. When you buy my original art you can count on the fact you bought it at the lowest price.

7. I do not rush the transport of any original artwork and I prefer consultations with all buyers prior to shipment to establish delivery expectations.

8. All sales of my original work are final. Once shipped, their are no refunds offered.

9. All original art is inspected by me prior to shipment, photos are taken before it is professionally packed by individuals trained to handle fragile shipments of electronics, fine art - framed and unframed, with and without glass - sculptures and antique furniture. Each piece is fully insured prior to shipment. 

10. At this time I do not sell original art outside the continental US, Alaska, Hawaii and Canada. I hope to do so beginning in 2024. Should that happen the sales price of my original work will increase for those clients. All extra fees, special packing requirements, shipping charges will be estimated at the time of sale and fully disclosed.

11. I pledge that ALL digital art images in this store are generated professionally and stored in an image vault that I control. When you select a print from my shop the order quickly gets to BAY PHOTO in San Francisco, a order fulfillment partner with access to my high resolution jpg digital files currently for sale in my store. 

There’s considerable misunderstanding among consumers about the process of making open edition art prints and for good reason. First and foremost it's important for the buyer/collector to understand how the image was created and by whom. My process begins by having a professional scan and/or photograph of an unframed or framed piece under conditions that can capture the color and match the original to the maximum extent possible. Very honestly, that involves a considerable investment by any artist on the front end.
